Privacy

We collect as little as we can. Here is everything that actually happens.

On this website

• No cookies. The site doesn't set any.
• No analytics, tracking pixels, ads or social media widgets.
• No third-party fonts or scripts. Everything loads from this site.
• No accounts, forms or newsletters here.
• One small note in your browser: the logo's little animation plays once per visit, so the site keeps a single “already played” flag in your browser's session storage. It never leaves your device and is gone when you close the tab.

Like any website, our hosting provider handles the technical requests your browser makes (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the pages, and may keep short-lived server logs for security and reliability. We don't use them to track or profile you.

When you buy

Checkout happens on Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your payment details, email and billing information and handles them under its own privacy policy. We never see your full card number. Stripe shares with us what we need to run the shop: your name, email, what you bought, the amount and the payment status.

We use that to deliver your files, send or answer support emails, handle refunds, and keep sales records for our accounts. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to any mailing list.

Your name and email on your mimo

When you download a mimo, we print your email in the footer of your PDF, and your name too if you typed one at checkout (the name is optional). That marks the file as yours and for your personal use. We use them for nothing else. Mimo doesn't store them: they stay in Stripe's record of your order, and our server holds the finished file in memory for up to 10 minutes so a second download is quick, then it's gone. They never go into our logs.

We keep the conversation so we can help you, and only for that.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at hello@mimo.io. We'll do it, except for records we need to keep, such as sales records.

If anything here changes (for example, if we ever add analytics), we'll update this page first.
